Starting in the Fall, HOPE Literacy will be able to provide a new resource for its sites across Tarrant County: an ESL curriculum library. Thanks to a generous $5,000 grant from the CB Baird, Jr. Foundation, HOPE Literacy sites will be able to check out curriculum for use in their classrooms. The curriculum will be returned at the end of semester and reused in the semesters to come. This project should help defer some of the costs churches face when starting up an ESL ministry. Also, we hope it will help equip existing HOPE sites with the tools they need to best serve their community. HOPE Literacy thanks the CB Baird, Jr. Foundation for its commitment to education initiatives and generous support of this project.
